I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport and when first starting the car (most of the time) on the first crank it doesnt start but after the second or third crank its starts but its a little sluggish for a few seconds. And other times its either ok or its like the car is at really low rpms and shakes a little until you rev it up for a few.

Let me know what you guys think.

 

hmmmm, I've been researching this a lot b/c I have a simular issue. I'm leaning torwards the Crankshaft position sensor, it's a common part to go out, it's relatively cheap and somewhat easy to replace.... hope that helps.
