im looking for my first xj, and this one looks like it ran into something, im planing an aftermarket bumper, so the bumper part will be junked anyway, i just need to know if there will be any damage to something such as the frame or anything other than the bumper.

I'm no XJ expert, but it doesn't look too bad to me. It's worth noting that an offroader can tolerate a little more in the way of frame geometry deviance than, say, a road racer. That's not to say you should run with a seriously bent frame, but small deviations are...well, heck, almost inevitable, if you're doing it right!
This doesn't look bad, but it's worth eyeballing and maybe taking a measurement or two on the relevant portions of the unibody. It looks like all the body panels are still lined up well, so this is probably just the bumper and mount, which you should be able to salvage cheaply, particularly if you're doing a new bumper.
Just make sure there are no tears in the metal of the bumper mount, particularly if the new bumper is going to be heavier! If that metal isn't solid, you're going to whack into something someday and either have a seriously bent XJ or a seriously bent you. It's worth the money at that point to have a professional take a look at the mount and fab a new one. Safety isn't fun, but having an engine in your lap sucks worse.

get some pics of the other side and underneath the mount preferably buyt from the pic it dont look bad a good way to see if it messed up pretty bad is to check the driverside door seem in the front behind the fender if it hits the door when opened theres a chance that the frame got pushed back and bent
