Default XJ Is getting a new rear axle!!

holy crap im very excited about this. i just got a dana 60 rear axle with a truss 4.10s locked, poly performance 4 link set up and disc brakes. ill have to buy some toob to make the actual 4 link as well as some joints. going to be plating my whole frame and also be stretching the wheel base. i hope to run some 38's- 39's by next summer. just need a front hp 60. pics soon to follow.

xj seth, 39.5's are hard to fit!!!!! i know cause i had to take mine off and put on 37's. im sitting at 104'' wb with explorer leafs in the rear and love the wheelbase.

i have a triangulated four link i got off a guy on colo4x4 just been to happy with the stability of the leaf set up.

if you want some links for cheap and all the measurments for building your brkts hit me up!! i dont think im gonna use it and would rather see it go under someones jeep instead of sitting on my shelf in the garage!!

pm me

thats the way to fit them 40's!! its all good im in no hurry to sell the links. none of my pics show it but i had to stretch the rear wells about 4'' and up 3''. havent got the tube work back on the rear wells but after bombing my tcase at spring creek on sat. i have to worry about that issue so i can romp at the fest!!

to answer your question on colo4x4 im looking for a 23 spline 231

i have had 242s in most my jeeps with no probs..is the front outputshaft on a 231 prone to having problems with big lifts?

Default update

60 is making its way to my place hopefully this Saturday. i will be using everything in the axle but the gears i will be changing over to some 5.13s or maybe lower with a detroit. fyi this axle is huge! i can barely lift it 3 inches off the ground with only stock tractor style tires on it for now.
