anybody with a 97+ xj swap front clip/headlight assembly to a 84-96? do fender contour lines match 97+ doors? any suggestions? thanks!

 

ya i think the fenders do . im not 100% tho

 

97+ header will not match 96 and under fenders. You will need fenders also. The 97+ fender will line up at the door.

 

the body lines are the same, just the contours are smoother on the 97+.
the header will bolt on to the earlier fenders, but won't quite match up due to the squared fender contour where they meet.

most will swap out the fenders just to clean it all up. body lines match with the doors fine.

i have a header and fenders to do on mine at some point.
