XJ Drivetrain clunking noise?
Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of research on to why my 1998 (4.0 I6, auto tranny) XJ has been clunking. It started after I got back on the road after wheeling one day. It's starts as soon as you begin rolling and gets faster until you get to about 25mph. So far I have, changed my rear diff fluid, tranny fluid, and checked both my U-joints and tranny mount. I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks!

Check hub berrings. Jack up the rear and front seperately and try wiggling the wheels in and out.. if you have play you probably have a bad hub berring. If this is the case have it fixed ASAP.
Check your lug nuts. Make sure none are loose. It may sound too obvious and dumb but its possible...
