Is the driver's seat from a Wrangler the same as the one from a 2-door XJ (seat tips forward to allow access to rear seat0?

 

In my Dad's 94 XJ 2-door there definitely was NOT the forward tipping type seat in it. It was just a little lever at the shoulder that let you slide the seat forward. I think that because the doors were freakin' huge, they didn't need anything more than that.

 

I just put a set of TJ seats in my XJ, using later seat mounts than my 87 had stock and bolted up to them like they came on those mounts.
Yes can flip level and rock the back forward.
I had Mustang GT seats in it before that, have to make brackets for them to bolt them to the stock brackets.
