Looking for 2-Door XJ Driver Seat in Grey Chicago
Im looking for a reclinable driver front seat for my 2000 2-door XJ. Grey in color preferably, and not saggy/ripped.
Same color as this jeeps interior:

Here's my experience with this...
Go find a 4 door seat. Those are plentiful. Slowly and carefully roll the material up on the seat back until the mechanism plate on the side is exposed. Unbolt the 2 door version from it's frame and bolt it onto the 4 door one. Here you will need a T-45 if memory serves me right. Cut a small slit in the rear of the 4 door back for the flip forward lever and boom. You now have a good seat. Or you could just unbolt the back of your 2 door seat if it's still in good shape and put it onto a good seat bottom from a 4 door.
I wish I would have taken pictures of all this. The front flip mechanism and slit for the lever really are the only differences between the 2 and 4 door seats. Hope this helps and will save you time and money.
