Is the ground wire plugged in at the headlight switch? I don't think this will just work itself loose -- normally would be unplugged if you were replacing the switch or working in the area. AFAIK '90 has this wire and I believe it affects only the lights in the gauge cluster area.

Have you inspected the rest of the headlight switch harness? They're known for melting...
Got it fixed i guess while installing new headlight switch a fuse blew because i checked them all tons of times so with the new switch and fuse ive got them finally.btw my old switch was corroded like hell no wonder it was bad.
