Thanks. Just took a turn to the drivers side to free it up.

Default 2002 GC heater issues

I know this is a common problem with these years of GC's but I have looked high and low on here and I don't believe I have found a solution. My heater blows luke warm air, enough to clear the windows at -10 or -15 celsius but does not warm the interior of the vehicle. I have tried all of the fixes I found on here including - changing thermostat, coolant, flushing heater core and radiator and opening up and inspecting the blend door. I ordered the JGC parts blend door but there is no need to install it at this point. There is no antifreeze smell, window fogging, or wet area on the passenger carpet/floor. I am not sure what my problem is at this point. Any help would be very appreciated.

Well warm fluid is not getting to the heater core, what condition are your hoses in? Sounds like theres a clog somewhere. Did you flush the heater core both ways?

Would be a shame to see an xj go because of a stuck nut. Have you torched it? Any penetrating oil? Which soft line are you having trouble with?

It's a 23 year old vehicle in an area with real winters. Replace the hard and soft lines together before rust or soft line deterioration becomes a problem. I can tell you from experience, it isn't fun when a hard line blows in traffic

235/75s. Soon to be 31s. Calculating by dividing my miles driven by gallons used from full tank to full tank. Average is usually 14.5 - 15 highway
