I have an 88 xj, and it's the limited. It has a sun roof, and it has thing that looks to be the temp and direction gauge thing. what's it called? I'd like to fix it. =) if anyone knows, it'd be much appreciated.

That "keyless entry receiver" uses infrared, correct? Jeez--reminds me of early TV remotes that you could trick by jangling your car keys. Alley Oop technology. My '95 has one too, but I have no idea how it works. I have enough trouble dealing with the "automatic door locks" that engage when you start the truck. (Visions of drowning in a rollover dancing through my head.)

The engineers at Jeep/Chrysler just need to KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID. Enough with the Buck Rogers BS.

 

yeah, I hate my sunroof. It's hot as hell in the summer, and before I RTV'd it shut, it leaked like a s.o.b. I'd much rather have an overhead console. And the keyless entry is pointless because all my regulators for the locks are all old and stuck.. =( I hate limited... I should have gotten a laredo.
