Working under the dash of my '90 xj and this falls out. What is it, ( I know its' an emission timer) and probably would tell me when to get my emiss tested but seriously..... on a 22 yr old xj with 197k on the clock and it just passed emiss. test for yearly inspection in the metro plex so it HAD to pass or no sticker. Do I really need it, could I use the hot wire for some accessories?

 

Ditch it. It's just a timer to remind you to replace your oxygen sensor. Have you ever done that?

 

Thanks, maybe it will end up on ebay if I can figure out an outrageous claim for it and an equally outrageous price.
