I went to Auto-Zone and got the sender to complete my gauge cluster swap and I think I might have been given the incorrect part.
The part I was given is this.
BWD (manf) WT430
Could someone who knows please let me know if this is the correct part to run the GAUGE and not the moran light?
THANK YOU !!

You are correct, there is a white one and a black one that Autozone sells.
Black is for gauges, White for Idiot lights. I was given the wrong part as well, couldn't figure out why my temp light would come on and slowly go from dim to bright.

I bought one from Autozone last week when I did a cluster swap. It was for the guages, and it was a white one.
As a side note, I noticed that I was running hot with the guages and found out I needed to replace my fan clutch. It was still hot after that, but not bouncing up and down. I installed a new thermostat and still had high temps.
I finally decided that the engine temp was right and that the Autozone sensor was bad. I went to Napa and bought one of theirs (also white) and now my needle sits right on 210*.
My advice is to not use the autozone temperature switch, for what it's worth...
