would it be worth a weekend to redo all the vacuum lines on 88 xj?

idk it seems like it'll make everything work like factory again

I would if you plan to hit any water crossings anything above 1" of depth...Otherwise no.

It took me about an hour to replace all of the ones for my A/C and Cruise Control in my 94. I am not sure if there were more in 88 though. Some of these can be replaced with water line for connecting ice makers to a water source. I paid 6 bucks to replace 12ft of line with that stuff. Also be sure to clean out all of the one way valves especially the one directly of the manifold. Cleaning that tripled my vacuum strength.

I would say yes, After 22 years. I'm sure a lot of them are brittle & cracking. It couldn't hurt it. especially at the price.

YES! It'll make a difference. You'll correct a number of air leaks that you never knew you had, and prevent just as many others from ever occurring.
