today i went out to start my jeep and it would not start.i messed with the air box,fuel system and tried putting it in neutral.nothing worked......went in the house got on here to look up what was wrong.went back out and it ran better than ever.now my question is what can i do to prevent this from happening again?also my oil pressure gauge stoped working.its just pinned.

I'm betting you need to clean the NSS. When you put in neutral then back in park you make it move ever so slightly that it started on next attempt.

I had put off my NSS cleaning so long that i had to hold the ign in start position as i gently moved shifter in neutral to make the contact to start. Once i cleaned it two years ago or better it has never given me an issue.

Or... you may have a CPS thats getting flaky and on it's way out. The NSS is a free repair.. i'd attempt that first.
