I was pokin around craigslist and I found a set of new tubular style (non-adjustable) Rough Country lower control arms for $75.

As I am about to install a 3" lift on my '98, I was wondering if I should pick these up. I could not find these on the RC site (except in a lift kit).

Any input would be great. Thanks!

 

Yes. as long as they are meant for a 3" lift. The stock arms will upset your alignment and pinion angles and cause the springs to bow and sag

 

i had those same arms on my xj with a 3 inch lift and it helped alot because i could adjust my caster back to stock and they seemed to help it ride a bit smoother also. for 75 bucks i would get them if theyre in good condition.

 

I have 3.5" lift and ive been looking at getting control arms because the stock control arms are rather flimsy and limit your flex. I want adjustable LCA's because i'm looking to go up 1" when i do

They will fit 84-01 Cherokees, 97-06 wranglers, and all Comanches. Fitment is for a 3-4.5 inch lift. $75 "
