wont stay running

Default wont stay running

i parked my xj about a year ago and periodically went out and started it. i quit doing that about 6 months ago now it wont stay running unless the throttle is pressed what do you guys think?

check you battery terminals. make sure there is no corrosion, make sure they are tight and make sure you have a good ground

sometimes they just need to run for awhile ,if the batt was discharged. It needs to "learn" to idle. Possibility that the I.A.C (idle air control) is stuck......
