wont start...two codes
po340 p0463
Well we got home from the bar, and then wanted to go get a bite to eat at the local heart attack in a sack and the jeep wont start...its throwing two codes, P0340 and P0463 for the voltage to the fuel pump and no cam shaft sensor signal...now it wont start, it just cranks and back fires...WTF
What are some fixes for this?

here's the codes he is getting for ease of trouble shooting..
P0340 (M) No Cam Signal At PCM No fuel sync.
P0463 Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too High Fuel level sensor input above acceptable voltage.
P0463 (M) Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too High Circuit shorted to voltage between PCM and fuel gauge sending unit.

here's something that might help for the P0430 code..

According to it the CPS could be a likely cause.. among other things like a short or bad ground..
The P0463 to me seems like a grounding issue on your sending unit..pull the sending unit plug clean it and plug it back in..Also could be a bad sending unit needing replaced.

First time I did it in a driveway and took a couple hours but I didn't know the tranny lowering trick. Last one I change on a lift and took twenty minutes.
Alright well I went out this morning and it started really rough and calmed down... put some dielectric grease on the fuel pump and camshaft positioning sensor's plugs and did a few other things but its really odd that it just started up out of the blue today but not for the past two days
well it was cold as hell this morning, but it was yesterday morning as well, but its never done this before...I think Im just going to replace the fuel pump and the camshaft positioning sensor and see how it goes...
i would replace just the crank shaft sensor for now. if it happens again hook upa fuel gauge to it and monitor your pressure while its acting up. if the fuel pressure is within specs then check your injector pulse. but honestly i think its just the crank sensor. keep us updated...
