Well I’ve gone through the sensors and a different TCU plus three of the wire harnesses today. I even subbed out a backup tps just to double down. I’m pretty stumped 🤔
My hunch now is second gear is blown or maybe the wiring up stream of the connectors is messed up

Speedo gear is back to acting wonky .. not as bad as before but at higher speeds it bounces up 20-30ph faster than what I’m going tends to only do that when load is being applied

Alright I officially have all gears and an accurate speedo!!
I changed the transmission and torque converter with a new to me aw4 with 120,xxx and a matching Tcu. It works beautifully the shifts are so crisp I’ve never experienced anything like this with my previous aw4
As for the speedo I needed to replace the chain in my transfer case and found out the blue sleeve was all tore up so replaced that and the chain plus a new shifter fork and all works great in there now 🔥
There was a couple of problems the transmission was shot and the t case was also pretty much shot. Gotta say getting that transmission in was no easy task with out the proper jack and would definitely buy a transmission jack next time! There’s a couple things to clean up but most importantly it shifts flawlessly. Next up, time to tackle the loud rear end
