Default wobble\ slight track bar movement.

Ok, so I ahve the common 55MPH wobble. Have relaced tie rod ends & dampner. (1 tie rod end had some slight wiggle) After reading searches for a few hours I had the wife wiggle the steering wheel back and forth for about 10 mins and watch everything close. The only thing that had any play yet was the end of the trackbar where ot mounts to the axle. It was slight but did have some. Should there be any flex in that mount at all?

I've got the same 55 mph wobble too, and am excited to see someone nail down a cause. How does one go about tightening the track bar mount? Where/how is it adjustable? Pictures would be great if anyone has them.

Sorry to tell you but all wobbles are different. most likely cause is the trac bar but no garuntee in order to find your issue you need to look for the play in your front end steering, just look for where theres any rubbing or excesive wear.

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess I was looking for an easy fix. Thanks for the Jeep wisdom.

making sure toe in was right helped mine a little but not all, did adjustable trackbar with bracket, no change, all new TREs and drag, no change, but while taking one tre out found that my tie rod itself was bent, got new one, helped a little, pulled front driveshaft, no change, put it back in and pulled the rear, no vibe, put it back in, no vibe (makes no sense other than my dad used to say a driveshaft has to be marked and go back in the way it came out) Getting sye next week.
