wnat to replace my 02 sensor?

do cherokee's have 1 or 2 sensors

what brand works best for cherokee's


i get my parts from napa unless someone says to go elsewhere

let me know what you have done it the past...if you noticed a increase in mileage

The more important one to replace is the upstream o2 (The one in the downpipe). I'd only replace that one if I were you

i was hoping to do this tonight

why replace that one...is it b/c the 2nd one is pretty worthless and doesnt control the computer

one is cheaper than two....i just want to get the most mpg out of my jeep

cherokees have 2 or 4 sensors. OEM is the best from the dealer, but they are expensive. I haven't seen any change in mileage yet grrr.

You can get the same one you'll get from the dealer off rockauto for a fraction of the price ($35 IIRC) - made by NGK

The upstream o2 controls fuel/air mixture, thus affecting your MPGs. The downstream o2 that's in the rear of the cat has to do with emissions and doesn't affect mileage.
