why replace that one...is it b/c the 2nd one is pretty worthless and doesnt control the computer
one is cheaper than two....i just want to get the most mpg out of my jeep

cherokees have 2 or 4 sensors. OEM is the best from the dealer, but they are expensive. I haven't seen any change in mileage yet grrr.

The upstream o2 controls fuel/air mixture, thus affecting your MPGs. The downstream o2 that's in the rear of the cat has to do with emissions and doesn't affect mileage.
