howdy! i just picked up a pair of square driving lights that will be used as fog lamps(http://www.pilotautomotive.com/Produ...7256&PCID=1065). question 1, the stock diagram has no relay in it. could it be built in the wiring already? question 2, wat does a relay do? question 3, how would you guys ground the lights?
Thanks in advance!!!
Thanks in advance!!!

Answer 2:
A relay avoids running high amperage power through a switch. Its basically the cheapest form of remote control, makes wiring high draw electrical accessories safe and easy.
Answer 3: I'd ground them to the frame rails or something metal on the body where you can get a good metal to metal contact

Please don't give advice like this. its bad advice and I'd hate for someone to take it and have an electrical fire as a result. There's a reason that all the big trusted light companies(See: Hella, KC, Lightforce, etc) use relays with their accessory lights.
