Hey guys, having a problem with my electric windows in my 96 Jeep Cherokee Classic. The problem is - they don't work at all. I checked the fuse and circuit breaker and changed them anyway (just in case) - no go. My question is, does anyone know if there's a broken wire between the fuse box and the driver door control panel (the one with all the switches on it) - will it cause them all not to work? That's what I'm going to try to trouble shoot but I'm not sure why that would cause them all not to work - Just wondering if someone knows how the wiring works.
thanks

Remove the door panel on the drivers side. And the speaker, if you have one. Push the boot between the door and the body into the door. Dont cut the boot, just push it into the door. The master window/lock switches are known to go bad as well, and may need resoldered. Broken joints can affect the windows, and the locks.

I believe that you should check the tan wire in the lower left. I believe that powers all the power windows. Hope this helps
Disregard the yellow highlight....
