Default Power seats-wiring harness question

I am replacing the cloth seats in my 93 Grand Cherokee (they are in fine condition but they smell like smoke, yuck!. I found a nearly perfect leather interior at my local pull and save parts yard. They have power seats.

The power seats only need a postitive and a negative wire running to each seat however I wonder if the factory harness for my jeep might have the pigtail and plug/socket underneath the carpet?

It would be nice just to be able to install the seats without having to run all new wires from the battery/fuse box to the seats.

Does anyone know if the harness for the power seats will be there?

LOL... Yup. I was just curious if anyone has done a leather swap like I'm doing and if they found the factory harness under the carpet.

Just would make the job just a bit easier overall.

really have to look, for instance most GCs are supposed to be pre-wired for teh rear accersory outlet, but when I went to add one the wiring was not there.

OH neato, there is a rear accessory outlet? (or supposed to be one). Where is that supposed to be located?

not sure on a ZJ but on WJs it is by the passenger rear side in the back behind where the cd changer would be. mine had a little cover over where the outlet was supposed to be but no wiring behind it, so I bought the jeep outlet and ran power to from my amps supply
