Default wire harness question

1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport

I removed the wire harness that goes from inside the car to the driver door to replace all the wires. I have a green wire not connected to anything inside the door. Where is this wire supposed to be connected? Should it be in one of the plugs?

There is a green wire that frequently breaks inside the bellows. It is one of the two speaker wires. If yours is like mine, that broke a long time ago and was bypassed with new wire.
