So I noticed that sometimes my wipers arms park a little high, sometimes they don't. The left one also goes off the windshield ocassionally during operation, but other times it works as it should. If I grab one of the arms with the motor off, both seem to have a couple inches of play as they stroke up and down the windshield. Seems like somethings loose. Anybody run into this before?

Underneath that grate looking thing on the hood (at the bottom of the front windshield) lays the wiper linkage. It doesn't take much to get it apart and the wiper assy out.I think it uses a small Torx bit.On my 91 the bushings were all worn out and one of the connecting bars cracked/bent too. I tack welded in a piece of (of all things) electrical Wiremold. It fit right in there and worked like a champ (at least till the truck died). As far as the bushings, I don't know.....maybe they sell after market kits, or there's always the JY
