My drivers side wiper linkage/post is annoying the hell out of me. When I run the wipers it pops up and down about 2 millimeters and makes a pretty IRRITATING knocking sound. Any known fixes? Or do I have to tear the whole thing apart?

 

Mine was acting funky as well, but not quite like that. I opened up the cowl, I think that is what the are is called, and found many of the bolts were loose...tightened up the entire assembly and things worked much better. Might want to lube it up some of the stuff if possible.

I pulled the cowl off a few weeks back looked under there, all the linkage looks fine, I bet it is some bushing under there that dried up...

Did you ever end up fixing this? I hammed the pivot point down and it fixed it today!
