So I bought that 5.5 amp circuit breaker. DO I need two, one for each slot?

I just pulled the motor from the crowl and hard wired it to the battery and it works. I've placed the fuse in both slots on every direction and it still seems to not work. What could it be? Are there any other places I can look for a possible wiring issue?

Do you have voltage to and from the switch?
