I just recently got a '91 jeep cherokee sport but came with no wiper arms and I've seen in another forum that others would swap out for a newer style wiper arm with the j hook, does anyone know if this is possible with a '91? If so, what arms will fit?

Yes, I just did this with my '96. They started the newer wiper arms (With J hook) in '97.

You can either go to a junkyard and find a '97 or newer XJ or buy aftermarkets. I bought aftermarkets from Advance Auto. Dorman part number is 42586. Advance Auto, Auto Zone, and Amazon carry them from what I remember.

If you don't know how to get the wiper arm off, let me know and I can give you some information on that. My wiper arms were the original and took a bit of muscle and patience to come off.
