Default wiper arm removal
hey i am trying to get the wiper arm off to repaint it. i cant figure it out. i have a 1990, thanks

Small tab on the top can be pushed towards the windshield with a scredriver, then bry on the back of the arm to push it off the column.

Pull the metal tab out and either pry it up with a screw driver,

No. Get some lube in there to make it move freely and you'll feel it pull then stop. I found that the box-end of a wrench between the wiper arm and the cowl presses it off nicely. You just need something that'll work as a fork...
