I recently came across a set of movable vented wing windows from the earlier cherokees. The drivers side bolt at the bottom of the window is rotted out. Does that bolt actually screw into the bottom of the window or does it just pivot in the shallow hole?

Seeing the lack of threads on the bolt in the pic I assume it just rides on the slot. Has anyone repaired these windows before?
