2001 Cherokee Sport: I have a strange issue that I can't figure out, when I turn on my headlights/parking lights , the front right parking light directly under the headlight does not turn on, although when the turning signal is on the parking light does work and flashes, so it is just the solid parking light not coming on. I have checked all the fuses to my knowledge none being blown and everything that I can see is connected. Is there anyone else who has had this problem? Is it possible the bulb uses two filaments and that's why only the turning signal works? Thanks

 

Check the bulb, socket, and the wiring.

 

Front and rear are dual filament, so yes it is possible. I have had rear bulbs do this before.

 

If I'm not mistaken that bulb is a 3157, which is a dual filament bulb.
