Are the windsheild washer tanks on our XJ's year specific?
Mine is located under the drivers side fender, and the joker who owned it before me must have been trying to put on a set of fender flares and drilled right into it. I figured there should be plenty at the boneyard, or someone local parting one out, but I wasnt sure what years would work on mine. I have a 99.

Any ideas?

i know the '96 and older models have the washer bottle on pass side firewall, and im 99% sure its a totally different shape. any 97-01 SHOULD fit your XJ. i'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong

 

renix washer tanks are located by the master cylinder in the engine bay.

HO (91-96.5) are located on the passenger side inner fender well by the firewall.

97+ i am not sure. dont want to give bad info.

 

I have a 98 and it is located in the front driver's side fender.
