You are bypassing the same brown and yellow wire but this is just a little simplier and easier. I wouldn't suggest the paperclip though.

If you wanted to you could even use the same parts and pieces in the other write-up at this location and prevent removing the door panel.

Just remove drivers door panel, unplug the connections, bend tabs back down.... if they get to sloppy they don’t work. That’s what i did and it worked awesome!
