Default Window tint

I am looking to install window tints on my Cherokee and have always gone to a shop to have it done, but am looking at attempting it on my own with an aftermarket product. I've heard a lot of negative feedback about this and am wondering if it's worth it and what brand to buy. Any help would is greatly appreciated.

Yea those youtube videos help but I'm mainly looking for what product to use. I don't want some junk that's going to peel off or bubble up over time.

I got some pre-cut tint off ebay and it was fairly easy to do, a TON better than the wal-mart tint you have to cut and fit yourself, and i only paid like $30 for all 11 windows...says it wont ever turn purple, but we'll see in a year or so.lol I normally take mine to a shop also but i was low on money so i figured i'd do it myself and see how it works and if it doesn't hold up i'll save up some money and pull the tint off and take it too a shop, but if it does hold up i saved myself a few hundred dollars.lol

Call your local Mercedes or Lexus dealer and ask them who installs window tint on their new vehicles. That's where I'd go.

Literally saved me a few hours from the roll's you can buy at a parts store and it turns out a lot cleaner looking also...i mean unless your really good at doing tint than ya the part store tint would save you some money.

You know i cant even remember if it came with instructions or not, i've tinted a few windows before and did a lot of reading up online so i kinda knew what to do...its really easy all you really need to make sure you have is a rubber squegee...This basically explains how to do it, but your's will be pre-cut so just never mind all the cutting and fitting stuff...http://www.tintdude.com/tint.html
