Default Window stuck half open? PLEASE HELP

So the other day my window just decided to stop goin all the way up. it gets about 3/4 of the way and stops then when i go to take i back down it stops little over 1/4 from the bottom. WTF it just operates in the middle moves about 3-4 inches up and down.

What is Wrong? They are Power Windows drivers side. My thought is something is stuck in the track. What you Guys think??? Need HELP I dont like leaving my window open over night....

There are switches which stop the motor when the window reaches them. Sounds like they are off their mark by quite a bit. Unless the glass has come out of it's track. Can you hear the electric motor still trying to move the glass? If yes then it is probably off track.

Once of the many changes I plan for the jeep before a paint job is new doors with manual windows and locks..get rid of those power options cause well they wear out and cost to much to maintain and repair not to mention the headache.. Just wish there was a way to change them over to manual windows without new doors..

pull the panel off of the door causing the issue and off one that works and watch em both to compare and you should be able to identify the issue..

Josh have you pulled the door panel and looked in at the glass's track? Is it still in the track or is that track in a bind from something? Does the window motor still try to move the glass?

Gotta be something binding the glass in the track unless the stops are set incorrectly or the regulator has something wrong with it. Can you see anything out of place on the regulator? Check it in relation to another regulator to see if there is a slight difference.
