Has anyone replaced a manual window regulator on the 84-96 Cherokees themselves?

Just how hard is it? The dealer wants 1.6 hours labor at $100.00 per hour. I do have some moderate mechanical experience.

If you have small to medium sized hands you will be fine....
You need to be careful when separating the window from the regulator assembly; there are times that the glass will crack if care is not taken.
With the acception of the window crank clip removal tool (recommended, but not required); normal mechanics tools are that is required to remove the regulator.
Taking your time 1-2 hours it about right.

Thanks. My hands and arms are on the larger side, I think.

It might be cheaper in the long run just to take it to the dealership. This thing is 25 years old and some stuff may be getting fragile and hard to find if I break something accidentally or due to lack of experience.
