There's power to the motor connector for both up and down, When i press down I can feel the regulator engage, Up nothing but the odd time it will go.

Tomorrow ill pull it and take a look inside.

Anyone have success in taking a regulator apart and fixing this issue? Ive Googled about but cant find any info on disassembly etc.

its a 91 2 door. new one is 200 argh

 

I have not had any luck with rebuilding them, for me its always been the track part seizing up, but I have had a lot of luck with going to pick and pulls and getting the full setup and all the bolts for super cheap. Just bring some wire probes so you can test the setup on a car battery before you buy one! You can get them pretty cheap if you go on discount days, i got my last one with all the bolts and clips for 15 bucks, and its lasted me over half a year and still going strong. But I still havent fixed any of my old ones, but good luck with that!
