Has anyone installed this version? I came across it while looking for a replacement. I've seen it now on a few other websites, I happen to have been on Rockauto. I'm not pumping the site.

I mulled over fixing my driver side with that $40 kit on eBay... but then I thought, if I already have the damn thing out, for another $30.. I can have it in and done in far less time and aggravation.

Lots of imports have that other style. The cables can come off of the rollers and get wound up, it looks like a birds nest. I would replace the original with one that looks like the original. No guess work, just a simple swap.

Just replaced the regulator couple weeks back with the dorman from rock auto. Wished I would have seen the second one you listed. The dorman fit in nicely. Every thing lined up well, it runs slower than original tho. FYI.

 

I used an OEM one from a online Jeep dealer <$90 they work great with power window motor included.

 

Amazon has that ACDelco assembly for $74, no tax and free Prime shipping. My driver's side regulator needs to be replaced, so I think I'm going to try it. Thanks for the heads up.
