Default Window Issues

So, I've got two issues

1 - The left rear passenger door on my XJ will go down down down, but not up - easy fix? How to?

2 - Not sure if it's an XJ thing or just age, but the windows roll up pretty damn slow, and if you SMUSH the button with some good hulk strength it goes up faster

Where do I begin, diagnosing or fixing?

What year, mine is a 99 and I tore the driver switch apart. I cleaned all switches and connections as well as refreshed all solders. Now all the passenger switches work, windows move faster, and my auto down works again.

Sub'd.

Both of my passenger windows are in-op. Both on the master switch and their own respectful switches. But both drivers side windows work. Dunno how that happens.

I'll be following this one

This is a good idea, nothing like a clean solid electrical connection.

It's a '95 - was it a pain to tear it all down?

Two things to try here:
1) Try pushing down on the rear of the window while holding the switch to raise it.
2) Try opening and closing the door while holding the switch to raise the window. Sometimes a wire breaks where it flexes from opening and closing the door.

Hardest part is getting the door panel off. Master switch panel on drivers side is easy to take apart. Clean the switches well and put back in.
