window crank removal

window crank removal

I have 96 sport and i cant get the window crank handle off what is the trick? i see no clip so my tool will slide in how are they held on. thanks anybody

just pull, they aren't clipped on

wrap your fingers around the base, and give it a good tug.

warning: not every has an upclipped crank.

I yanked mine and it broke (95 4.0, SE). another $25. I hate torx and I hate the design of this window crank.
