will yj axles fit in a cherokee?

Default will yj axles fit in a cherokee?

i found a set of yj axles with 4.10 gears which is what i need to run bigger tires just need to make sure they will fit. is there alot of bracket relocation or what? my other options are i found a dana 44 front and a 60 rear end not sure about the gears

You would need to remove all the YJ bracketry and weld on XJ bracketry.

umm sure. i would assume a front dana 30?! you will need to weld on all new brackets like overland said. its not as easy as you think it may be. cutting, grinding, measuring, tacking, finish welding, all that X 2

ya its dana 30 and 35 with 4.10 gears i also recently found a mj with the same set up is that a direct bolt in?

The YJ would also be a CAD axle.. vac disconnect.

The MJ front axle would be a bolt in.. the rear axle in it would need spring perches and shock mounts moved.

I wouldn't swap a d35 into anything! If you are going to spend time and money on an axle swap go for an upgrade! You will be much happier with a Dana 44 or a Chrysler 8.25 or a ford 8.8 or 9".
