will super glue work on dana 30 disco?
I keep thinking that when i need my 4x4 most the hoses are not going to be on the disco to engage it. So i was wondering if i could put some super glue on the connectors and slide the hose down on it. Do you think it will work?

if you take the disco peice off and slide the the ring over (on the axle), push the fork over on the vaccum peice and hold it till you put a course threaded screw with some silicone sealant it should do the trick....

As well as a reasonably solid background in theoretical and practical physics (most branches,) chemistry (inorganic and petrochemistry,) and mathematics ("if it can't be described mathematically, it ain't important.")
Education enhanced by experience - and a wide array of experience at that! Throw in the fact that I am the product of an educational system wherein some variation of "Why?" was the most common answer on tests, and I'm used to giving detailed explanations anyhow (after all, you could get partial credit for a wrong answer - if you can show that your logic was sound, and you'd just started from a flawed premise.) And, I like to teach.

wow..
What an answer! You are a great teacher 5-90. You are master yoda with a wrench! lol. well after much debate and help from the folks on jcf, i ended uo getting some butterfly hose clamps and clamping them on the hose.It worked great. I couldnt even get the hoses to move. Now i feel real good and confident that when i need my 4x4 it will be there.

Throw in my natural inclination to figure out just how and why things work (it's not enough for me to know that it works and how to fix it, I want to know how and why so I can make it work better!) and you're going to learn one Hell of a lot!
And, I enjoy teaching, so this allows me to disseminate knowledge that I've picked up over the years. Why do you think I'm writing books?
