Default Will the proportioning Valve off of a ZJ work for an XJ rear disc conversion

I found a rear disc brake set up on a 96 ZJ for the rear conversion for my 01 XJ. Will the proportioning valve from the JZ work with the XJ? If not which proportioning valve should I use?
Thanks

Easy. Use a coarse sanding drum.

You still might have to do the last part... but otherwise not really.

You will have to do something about the E-brake cable.

Neither...

You have to trim the ears on the retaining clip because the mount flange is thicker. Also the cable itself might be too long. You might either shorten it or find some way to loop it.... I know there is a thread somewhere about it.... let me find it.

If it where me I would replace the cable with something that would work. Or get the stock one shortened. That way if god forbid I needed the e brake I know for a fact it would work.

I think the only difference is you can skip the "dremel the backing plate" step.

I won't need to widen the backing plate hole at all??
