Will my transfer case bolt up to a manual tranny?
My Jeep is automatic and I am going to convert it to manual because manuals are the only way to go IMO.
I got the clutch pedals and will he going back for the tranny in a couple days (its a 5spd out of a 4.0 4WD), and want to know if my TC will bolt up to the tranny (I don't know which ones my tranny or TC or the tranny in the junkyards are at the moment). *I would get the TC attached to the 5spd but I don't have the money*
I plan to get the rear driveshaft and temporarily go 2WD if I can.
Will I also need the crank from the 4.0 5spd or do I just need the flywheel.

The NP231/242 input gear chart is what you need: http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge...nput_gears.htm
You'll need a new driveshaft after the conversion as transmission lengths are different. Also your 2WD backup plan will not work as the AX-15 output shaft is very very short. In fact it's just long enough to fit into the transfer case gear. 2WD transmissions have longer main shafts and a tail extension housing.
You don't need to pull the crank. You'll need everything from the crank-back though
