Im in need of a new header panel because the one my XJ has on it is missing a big chunk so its in need of a new one. I was looking on ebay and found a brand new aftermarket complete header panel for $170 bucks shipped. I was just wondering if this header panel would fit fine on my cherokee without having to do any major modifications to it for it to fit. Thanks to those that help


ALSO I am just wondering but is a 1987 hood the same one as one on a 1998?

Yes but mines a 1998 so i dont think i would need any modifications. Basically my question is if the aftermarket header panel is exactly the same as a original header panel and if it will bolt right on with no problems at all.

Also is a 1987 hood the same as my 1998 hood? The 1987 hood is from a comanche i think but im not positive.

pretty sure they're the same.

other than the newer ones have springs instead of the prop rod
