Will Having No AC Effect My Defrost?

I had an F150 that I turned the A/C pump into onboard air. It was the best mod I ever done. To oil it I just dumped a mineral oil into the intake before wheeling. I plumbed it so the condenser and reservoir were used as an air tank.

thats expensive. rather spend that on drivetrain upgrades.
