Will front seats from a 2001 XJ fit a 1999?

Will front seats from a 2001 XJ fit a 1999?

Hi All,

My 99 XJ's drivers seat has a split on the side, and someone locally is parting out a 2001. He wants $100 for the pair of front seats, but before I make the hour long drive to check them out, I want to be sure they'll fit.

Are there better aftermarket solutions that won't break the bank that I should consider?

yes they will. BUT ZJ seats (92-98 GRAND) fit too. Just need to put YOUR frames on the ZJ seats.....LOTS of leather ZJ seats out there.

I've heard about that mod... thanks for the tip, might be worth looking into.

I put 93 into my 89 all I did was bend the tabs on the front of the rails sothey sat flat. Shouldn't 01 and 99 be the same? I don't know much about the newer ones mainly just the old renix stuff.
