howdy guys,

my renix 4.0 auto, weighing in at about 220k miles, died on me yesterday while driving. attempted to restart to no avail. tested cps, got no voltage (absolute 0 even on lowest dmm setting), so replaced it. once my buddy picks me up and takes me back to it ill test the new cps for voltage (it was damn cold and blowin 30 last night, and were a buncha wimps :P)

however, im also not getting fuel prime. i shorted my b+ latch and the fuel pump relays, they work, and i can short from 87 to 30 on the fuel pump and it does run, and does put out pressure at the schrader under crank, but will not prime. so i tested the starter relay right behind the battery by jumping the fuel pump strait to b+, it runs. so im not getting a prime for some reason...maybe the contacts on the pdc are needing a refresh? i check grounds, ive got solid contact.... any ideas?

pcm is ok, atleast im guesing so because 1) my gauges move when trying to crank and 2) when my last pcm went out from a short i got no crank

also, i just read on another forum that if i disconnect the cps, and turn the key, the fuel pump should prime, indicating the cps is failed? i did replace it but becuase of cash i had to get a cheaper one that could have just failed out of the box. is this true in renix?
