Will this Fit?

Well I posted this on another forum but no help there.

I have a 95 XJ with a metal gas tank that is rusting and leaking.
I got a good deal on a plastic tank from what I was told was a 96.

Will it be a direct fit replacement????

The tank should fit....Im pretty sure they switched to a different sized fuel tank, for '97+ XJ's ....someone correct me if Im wrong, tho...

should work fine. i think they switched in '97.
