Will a broken coil spring cause death wobble?
So I bought the jeep and on the drive home, going down the highway, whenever I would hit a hole with my passengers side front tire death wobbling would ensue. Got home and noticed that the rusty coil spring was broken... snapped in two. Would this be the cause of my wobble?

I do pretty much have the parts to do the entire front end. Shocks, Upper CAs, lower CA bushings, track bar, both sides upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings/links, coil springs. I've been workin on this thing for a while now, had to take almost a week off cuz of the heat index of 115 we had and my garage isn't climate controlled. I'm running out of time to get this out of the garage cuz I'm moving (from my parents house). Not to mention just about anything that can go wrong has gone wrong as far as snapped bolts and stripping bolts and the like. Cutting and grinding and pounding ensue. 10 minute jobs turn into 2 hour jobs, you know?
I'm trying to figure out what absolutely needs to be done that I can get away with for now and if I have to go back in later (if the problem persists) then so be it. I think right now, due to the timecrunch, I'm going to do everything except the work related to the CAs. I tried to get the lower one off today and those bolts were not budging even with the impact and a breaker bar. This was after spraying them with PB blaster for a week. If I still have the wobble then I guess I'll have to go back in do those and cross my fingers.
I just look at that coil being broken on that side that was causing my wobble and I was hoping one of you would tell me what I want to hear and say "yep. that's your problem. do that and it's solved." lol. wishful thinking.
I haven't even got a chance to enjoy my Jeep since I bought it and drove it home. It's been in the garage since I pulled it into the driveway

Both front shocks were good actually. Replacing them anyways. I got the tie rods out, the ball joints out (fun when you don't have a press), I did find something interesting when I got the rest of the front tore apart today. I found a small rusthole in the rear of my steering stabilizer with the all of the fluid gone. Got it out of there and it was completely useless. Now I gotta pick up a new one of these but I'm thinking this will go a long way towards helping my DW (hopefully it's not covering up another issue). I'm not going to bother replacing my track bar because I got under there and practically hung and swung from it (I'm a 250lb dude) and there's no play whatsoever.
Tomorrow after I got my steering stabilizer it's finally time to reassemble. Installing shocks, steering stabilizer, coils, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar/link bushings. Can't wait to get it done and see how she rides.

Got everything except the springs at rockauto. Saved sooooooo much money over gettin it at autozone or oreillys.
In total I've prolly dropped around 400 in parts (probably almost twice that if I got it all from a brick n mortar store) and the springs themselves were 100. But I only paid 1400 for my XJ so I think I'm still comin out pretty good. It only has 112K on it which I think is pretty good for an 88.
